Do NOT connect the spring at first. Manually take the slack out of both the
cable and the clutch crossshaft, adjust the swivel to just go in the hole,
and add one turn of the swivel as a 'pre-load'. This is a good starting
point. Attach the spring, and check foot pedal travel and clutch engagement
(running). Readjust swivel to taste.
