<VV> Fuel Tank Sender for FC

Hey everybody:

I am on the verge of going forward with the 4 speed conversion of my 
Greenbrier.

There seems to be a shortage of reasonably priced senders for gas tanks with 
a tunnel.

My question is: What is the difference between the sender for the tunnel 
tank and the non-tunnel tank?  Can a non-tunnel sender be modified to work 
in a tunnel tank?

The sender in my non-tunnel tank works fine.  If I can use it in a tunnel 
tank, that would be great.
