Jim not only had a killer 194/Corvair, but a widebody 914/ turbo Corvair with 911 suspension and breaks.

He did it right with a custom engine cradle, a professionally reversed transaxle, and a normal-rotation
Corvair engine. The bellhousing end used a Kennedy adapter... the other end had the rear housing
removed to fit into the custom cradle. External oil cooler/filter. Exhaust was all custom. (I bought the engine
from him when he went back to big bore VW power)

I did not buy any of the custom 914 parts (cradle, transaxle, etc) so they may still be available. Sorry I don't
have Jim's work email (the usual way I talked to him) on this computer... but VV shows fki@otherside.com

Good luck... it was quite a car he had!!!

>The person I know of who has actually had a 914/Corvair is Jim Vickers.
>I don't know him personally, but the program from the 7th Racers
>Reunion (VIR) showed him being from Corydon, Indiana. Try a search
>engine. If that doesn't work, try Warren Leveque.
