<VV> battery tie-down rusted away

Hello

I have a 66 Monza 110 4sp with the battery hold-down brackets totally rusted 
away.  I like to drive fast around corners.  Does anyone have a suggestion 
for how I could fashion a suitable substitute?  Welding  is beyond my 
capabilities.  Thanks

P.S. I recently installed an aftermarket windshield washer pump and have 
been happily washing my windshield at every opportunity.
