sitting here wondering if the block halves were from 2 different engines?
i have gone thru an engine failure also after some work. it is a very long 
and i think interesting story, may post it later , but i use one finger for 
typing.basically it sat for a long time and i did a quick go thru and it must have 
had rust or sand hidden in it somewhere. i had top and botom off along with 
bellhousing and it was clean , but it lasted about a half hour of real running 
before setting up tight. #2 bearing froze to shft. much rusty colr sand in 
nice new clarks pan..so the engine has been parted out and i am building 3 new 
ones. regards tim colson..
