<VV> Electric heater - humor

A kind of funny story here.

On the way back from WI to IL in Jan - after ice racing, could get no heat
and it was around 0 degrees F. The little electric heater would barely keep
the drivers toes warm - on one foot.

One of the thermostats had failed and virtually no heat was going to the
passenger compartment. We were FREEZING and no tools or spare thermostats.
Ended up closing the offending door and pounding the edge over to hold it
closed. Oh, did I say no tools? Well, it seems that we used the spare fuel
pump that is always in the car as a hammer. Worked JF! Toasty after that.
