if there is any chance at all of freeing up a rusted engine it would be with 
PB BLASTER, a westly product.  the stuff is like a liquid torch in a spray 
can. we forced our local napa store into carrying it years ago by buying several 
cases at a time. they already had the bleachwhite tire cleaner and waxes so 
they are now glad they did.. good stuff.   The JB is also good for valve guide 
problems(gum etc).  i think there is more on a website. regards tim colson
