Casual experiments have left me with no preference for the action of Kroil
over PB Blaster. But one ancillary matter has me preferring PB: Kroil will
eat its way out of its can over time. I believe Kroil employs acid to gain
its effect. Nothing wrong with that for the purpose at hand (breaking
corrosion bonds), but this consideration does give me some pause about using
Kroil on pieces I need to protect against corrosion. If I can't get at the
affected area to clean it carefully, I'll avoid using Kroil. As it is, I
don't have any Kroil. Its container started leaking, so I threw it away. If
I'd wanted that much to keep it, I guess I'd have transferred it to a glass
container.

Any opinions PB Blaster vs. KROL? KROL <http://www.kanolabs.com/> has
been around a long time and has lots of industrial customers. Which is
better? For what uses?
