I will try this tonight. But the last time I tried that the car would
stall on either side.
Have not tried the strobe light, but I do see healthy squirts of fluid
when I look down the carbs and move the accellerator.

Using the relative vacume tester I set the vacume to be almost exact on
both carbs.

Then I tried tuning the fuel idle mix. Drivers side, nothing other than
completely out would change a thing.

At this point, put your hand on top of the drivers side carb and seal it.
Does the motor still run? If it doesn't affect it much, you may have
something clogging up an idle passage in that carb somewhere. Another
little trick - If the motor is running strange and you want to see if
fuel is actually flowing from the cluster or accelerator discharge into
the throat, hook up a timing light to one of the plug wires and aim the
strobe down into the carb throat and watch. (Carefully) With the engine
running, the flash will freeze-frame the fuel and you can easily see what
is discharging and what is not. - Seth
