<VV> Wiper varaitions

Request for help. After cleaning and lubricating the wiper assembly, I am
putting in back in to the 65 NSvair and it appears that either the throw
of the wiper motor is too long or the arm to the motor is too long as when
it is in park and all way to the drivers side , the arm pivot to hook onto
the ball on wiper is about an 1" too long. Does any one know if there were
changes and I have mismatching parts. Have another arm assembly and it is
the same OR I am missing the obvious- most likely!
