<VV> 63 corvair - Is this a respectable deal?

For a price point: I have a low-mileage (40K) '66 convert w/AC, 110hp and
powerglide that I hope to get $9,500 for. The car is completly original and
immaculate in every respect except the undercarriage. When I bought the car
in 1988 for $5,000, it was an original, rust-free car that only needed new
paint -- well almost only. It took another $6K plus before it met my
standards. You can see the economics of buying near the top of the food
chain. Just because you buy high doesn't mean you can't have fun working on
it -- these are, after all, old cars and work and old cars go together.

Thanks for the fast replies to Dave and all. I will
check the CORSA classifieds. I'm not particularly
picky about early/late, engine type, or even trans
type (but more power and a manual are always welcome).
The convertible is the key for me. I live in SE
Michigan, and would be looking for something
reasonably local.

For those who couldn't see the pics, they are back up
now, don't know what happened for a while there.
