I've heard mechanic complaints before.  I chalk it up to the Corvair being a
good bit different from anything else they were used to working on.

If you are not worried about stock, the generic replacement antennas at most
any auto parts store can be mounted straight up OR on an angle.

Tonneau cover AFAIK is not a stock item.

Attachments are scanned with anti-virus software.
