Opinions and navals . . we've all got 'em.  As for me, I live in Columbus, 
OH and was working in the same block as the Marriott that hosted the '96 
mini.  Hadn't paid much attention to Corvairs since dad traded his for a 
Firebird in '68.  I watched the parade outside my office window, skipped out 
of work to walk the parking lot, and fell in love.  It took me eight years 
to buy one, but now I'm in with both feet.  I found the guys to be friendly 
and the cars to be affordable.  Without the Columbus mini, it wouldn't have 
happened for me.  I'm with those who say any mini (provided it doesn't 
dilute the national) is a good thing if it supports our hobby.
