I replaced the original rear antenna on my 65 sedan.
My Clark's replacement can be raked back to  more than
the angle of the open engine lid. However, the
thickness of the mast makes it look a bit ungainly.
The previous broken one had a thin replacement staff
which did look good raked. So, I keep mine upright.
