<VV> Lakewood Questions

I have a '64 Monza Coupe 4 sp with everything on it
restored... I now have an opportunity to buy a
Lakewood SW with a decent body- automatic--- I'm
thinking of transferring everything,--- front and rear
crossmembers, trans, gastank, wiring, instrument
panel, clutch/brake pedal parts (including dual master
cylinder)- from my '64 coupe to the Lakewood and
converting it to a 4sp --I have converted several
cars- but never a car to Lakewood transplant.

My thinking tells me I would end up with a rarely seen
(or "rarerer" in Texas), better handling, more
powerful, with self adjusting brakes --Lakewood.

Are there fatal flaws in this thinking I don't know
about- like the wheelbase is different so the cables
and shift parts won't work--cross members won't bolt
up---'64 pedals won't bolt up---

And why would I want to "unrestore" a really nice '64
- in Texas that's covered under, "jist 'cause I
wanna"-

- and if I do this-- anyone want a really great '64
Coupe body with new white paint, tinted glass, and
complete brand new aqua interior that has never been
installed in the car- covers are already on all the
seats and they are perfect-Clark's door panels,
fuzzies, and black carpets are still in wrappers.

And why wouldn't I just find a '64 donor car and not
"unrestore" my '64-- I'm looking.
