Have you considered using a coupe door?   Gut the donor door if its
glass/frames and remove same from the 'vert door.   The donor coupe door
glass frame unbolts at the front and is brazed at the rear, torch will pop
it right off.  Swap hardware and glass and associated weatherstrip and
that's about it.  

You do have to cut or torch a brazed joint on the rearward section of the
door where the glass frame attaches... the rest unbolts.   But other than
that, the doors are pretty much alike.  Been there done that.  

I've found that it's a lot easier to do the mod than turn up a good early
ragtop door.
