<VV> Build codes

OK, let's clear a few things up here and now. Kent Sullivan has pointed
out to me that you can tell from the Chevrolet Assembly manual which items
were installed by Chevrolet (because the instructions are in the manual) and
which were installed by Fisher Body (because they are not in the manual, or
else the manual indicates the item was installed by Fisher Body). The Body
tag with the accessory codes was put there by Fisher Body, so it only refers
to things that Fisher Body did.

Hence, you will not find code numbers for those RPOs that were installed by
Chevrolet. Specifically, you will NOT find a code number for the following:

Radio Delete
Regular Radio
Push Button Radio
(because Chevrolet installed all aspects of these items per the assembly
manual)

Note however, for the rear antenna, Fisher Body installed the antenna wire,
so there IS an accessory code for the rear antenna. Likewise the Power rear
antenna.

So for the same reasons, you won't find the following (1964) options coded
on the Body Tag, because they were all installed by Chevrolet, Not Fisher
Body:

Wood Grained Steering Wheel

Wheel Covers (any style)

Wire Wheels

Spare Tire Lock

Heater Delete

Oil Bath Pre-Cleaner

ANY Engine options (Note: for Late Models you WILL find a code for the Turbo
Engine, since the CORSA Model could have either 140 or turbo, and the turbo
required a body cutout, but you will not find any codes for turbos on 1964s
because that was only available with the Spyder model, and thus the model
number served to indicate a turbo engine.)

ANY Rear Axle options

Now for the 1965 and later Model years, you will need to read the
appropriate Chevrolet Assembly manual carefully to determine which of the
options would have been installed by fisher Body (and therefore might have
body codes) and which were installed by Chevrolet.

Very careful reading of the Assembly manual is required, as sometimes it
seems as though Chevrolet installed the entire option, but on closer
inspection it says that a wire or a hole or some such was installed by
Fisher.

Now, here is a challenge for you: It appears that every aspect of the Z01
Convenience group for 1964 was installed by Chevrolet (per assembly manual).
Therefore, why should there be a code for it on the body tag?

The more we look into this, the more interesting it gets.
