Dorai, The most important step in the solution to this problem is
to make sure you have cleaned both runners extremely well. I do
this by soaking in petroleum parts cleaner to remove ALL old dirt
and grease from the runners and their ball bearings. Then work them
back and forth vigorously using gloves to protect your hands. After
all this you will be able to inspect them closely and probably determine
the problem. You may end up swapping passenger and driver runners
to see if your problem is actually with the runners or elsewhere. Use
spray white lithium grease to re-lubricate the ball bearings and the
runner slide areas as well as the catch mechanisms and pivot areas.
Let me know how this works.
