If the timing is jumping around, it isn't the rotor unless it's actually
hitting the cap. You may want to make sure the shaft isn't loose, and the bearing
isn't worn.

With a simple bent metal tang like the other brands, and just a little tab
to engage the point cam. Any still made of good quality? These new ones
are like the garbage Neihoff parts.
