That's odd,  my '69 car   heats best in town [ 35-45mph ]  but will cool off 
after driving on the highway at 70 mph  in weather  below 40F.

1   Damper doors adjusted TIGHT

2  Heat re-circ plate off

Note:  This car has a hole cut out [  2nd  re-circ?] under the coil...looks 
factory!


I attribute this to "Wind Chill"  ??
