Sure - remove the spinner held on by the screws inside the cap.  The
"knockoff" holds the inner ends of the spokes (two spokes per unit, which
form a "V" the outer ends of which poke into the rim.

Take it apart and you'll see how it all fits back together.  It's really
easier and you can clean the joints between the parts to do a really nice
job of it.

Polish them up and back together in a lot less time than trying to get
between the assembled parts !
