Yep.  Pomposity is way overrated.  The way I look at it, if I had to 
continue my lineup, it would include the following really boring cars, and 
I'll bet "even the Corvette guys" would have to fess up to some humble 
beginnings:

1961 Chevy van
1976 Dodge Aspen
1977 Saab 99 GLE
1980 Chevrolet Citation
(oh, the horror.. I better stop now)
