Helen's 7th birthday was Sunday, at toys r us. Hotwheels has a set of 5 'classics', 1 of which is a late v8. Looks like the vairy8, but slate gray instead of shiny. Red backlite. Had plenty of them. I am sure other 'fine' retailers have it.
