<VV> RE: Fuel economy, alcohol and water injection.

In view of the fuel economy and alcohol threads recently.  Here's a
question.

Anyone out there have any experience running a high compression corvair
engine with alcohol or alcohol/water injection to try and increase
efficiency and while lowering octane requirements?

Maybe a good trick is use the cooling and anti-detonation characteristics to
help us stretch the gas a little farther.  Might be more realistic than
running E85 or a step closer to an engine to could use either one if needed.
