I remember reading somewhere that the reason for the airdam being introduced
on the 66 models was due to a California law requirement regarding headlight
height which exposed the front suspension enough that somebody in design
thought it ought to be covered (hence the plastic "spoiler").

That would mean the springs (either front higher or rear lower) had to be
different between 65 and 66.

Or am I halucinating again and should just go back to sleep
