Coker Tire (www.coker.com)  have a 6.50 x 13 1 inch whitewall bias ply for
$104 each. Personally, I would prefer radials, but if looks are what matter
to you, you can get all 5 tyres done for a mere $520 + shipping + fitting
(if anyone will do it for you) + balancing + alignment.

Mind you, things could be worse. The only tyres which will a) look right;
and b) provide the level of grip I want on my 1960 Lancia Panel Truck are
Michelin Pilot X in 6.00 x 16 (they are radial versions of the original
Michelin bias plies). I can get bias plies which will make it handle like a
truck (and the whole point of Lancia trucks is that they don't!), or I can
get radials whose sidewalls are way too low, which will make it look really
silly and lower the gearing as well. But I can't get the right sidewall
height and good handling except from the Michelin (unless someone know
better!). I had some American-made radial whitewalls on the Kaiser, and they
were 16 inch and they made it handle pretty well, but the sidewalls were WAY
lower than I want.

They will run me at $2600 for five, plus shipping, fitting, etc. In other
words, exactly the same price for one tyre as you would pay for all five...

Think I will have to find another alternative!

Cheers

Alan
