I have been known to play my music loud, in the car and in the back yard.
What I object to in other peoples' music is not the volume or the bass but
the lyrics that usually accompany their "music of choice" My six-year old
grandson doesn't need to hear any of those words he hasn't already. I have
to wonder about the violence, sexism and (I was going to say racism but if
a *insert politically correct term* calls another one a nigger I guess it
isn't racism but lack of self esteem?) I question their assumption that I
share their taste in music. My neighbor parks his car, literally, next to
my bedroom window. Has a tendency to leave and go somewhere about 8 am.
This is a stock car (fairly new Buick) with factory exhaust but it would
wake me up. No big deal, I roll over and go back to sleep. I ahve slept on
ranges with Bradleys firing and in a tent in Graf next to a tank range. I
LIKE to drive next to a bike with loud exhaust, roll down the windows and
turn off the stereo to hear it better.
I think that bs in Florida is bs, Where is the ACLU when we really need
them? <GGG>
