As long as you've got 0  and 90  ohms on the stops..bend away!

Don't ask me how I got some oil level sight gauges to read 
correctly......ggggg

Tank bottom to mounting boss  is 25"     "FULL"  =  19"      Gauge is only 8" 
 deep  with 4" arm/float giving empty to full.......ggggg
