i have gotten motors to turn by spraying blaster at the wrist pins along with 
the cylinders. then put two bolts in the crank pulley to horse on with a 
piece of pipe or pry bar. some of the engines i had that wre set up from barn 
storage were just the pins , i think. if you tapped on the pistons with a hammer 
you could see slight movement but it would not turn.  so after seeing pistons 
set up on the rods before i decided to try blastering the pins...it worked on 
more than one engine. very rare that bearings in block stop the engine from 
turning.
