<VV> Clutch Adjustment

Clutch cables get longer when a few strands break, usually in a part of the
cable you can't see. Get a new one - it's clear you need one. Yours is close
to breaking.
Yes, a good length of one end of the assembly is a rod, swaged to the
cable.

Subject: <VV> Clutch Adjustment

I have two questions concerning clutch adjustment on our 1965 Monza.

1. I cannot seem to shorten the clutch cable sufficiently to make a space
between the transmission cross member and the lever. Could my clutch cable
have stretched?

2. The clutch cable is actually a rod for most of its length. Is this
correct?
