<VV> Coil Question

That's coil, not oil... :-)

In my spare parts that I carry I have a point/condenser set, a spare fuel
pump and I was thinking about carrying a spare coil to round out the set of
spares. My memory is fading but I seem to remember somebody saying never to
store a coil lying down as it will leak.

Is that the case?
