Yes, it is a lot of fun. I have done it for the last 5 years, picking a
different section each time. I have learned a lot about how to prepare
a car, what to do & what not to do. Plus you get to get up close &
personal with some pretty nice cars. Last year I got to help do the
undercarriage of the raffle car. It was the least amount of points I
remember deducting off any undercarriage- like new! I'm waiting to hear
what area I get to judge this year.

Group,

I just talked to Don Wagner and he said they need about 10 more judges
to sign up for the Portland Concours. I have judged for the past four
years and it is a lot of fun. Even if you have no experience they will
train you and pair you up with an experienced judge. You will get an up
close look at some very nice Corvairs. All you are judging is
cleanliness and workmanship. If it is original or not is taken care of
in classification, you don't have to have lclc's knowledge to be a
judge. They even provide your lunch. Last year at Lexington the
Baptist Church ladies prepared the lunch and it was fantastic.

So if you haven't signed up yet or think you might be interested contact
Don and he can provide more details.
Don's email is:

or call him at 816-324-4870
