<VV> Oregon Laws?

 I have been told that Oregon is one of only two states that have a law forbidding motorists to fuel
their own vehicles. The other being New Jersey.
 
I don;t know if this is true or if it is what the reason is... (perhaps scarcity of jobs?) but if so this
is something to think about. If you have a motor home make certain the fuel is added to the correct 
place.
 
Do you own under hood checks on your vehicles (Corvairs particularly)
 
I once just stopped an "attendant" from adding water to my cooling system in my 62 Monza coupe (this
was 1964) even thought clearly embossed on the cap is said "OIL.
 
Take no chances.
 
I wanna see everyone get there.
 
If this is true could someone in Oregon explain why? Or someone from New Jersey?
