Check the battery cable connections (remove, clean, replace, tighten).

Subject: <VV> starting problem-suggestions?

I have a '64 500 PG. Went to start it yesterday, turned switch to the 'on'
position and the dash idiot lights glowed like normal. when i turned to
start it i heard a 'click' and the lights went dead. went back and wiggled
the wires on the battery and voltage regulator then came back. idiot lights
came on again but when i tried to start it same results. any idea what this
might be?

thanks,
Tully
