i used to coast or push start powerglide corvair lot cars all the time. did not seem to have to go that fast to kick in. i used neutral until i felt it was fast enough then dropped it into low. worked just fine. good going smitty! wish i was doing it the same way.... regards, tim colson packing for plane ride monday.
