<VV> Corvair on the road - need help in Sarasota

My daughter Leigh reports that her Spyder is back on the road!  We thought it was going to need a new generator, but it turned out to be just the brushes.  She and her friend replaced the brushes without having to remove the generator.  I was overwhelmed with all the offers to help, either with information, contacts, parts or actual hands-on participation (listed below). Having been several states removed from the action, I don't know in detail who did what, but I know Javier played a key role.  
 
Thanks to all, and if you ever pass near South Boston (VA) and need help, I hope I can return the favor!
