<VV> Rust Free EUM--on group Red

Folks
Removed the front and rear glass from the EUM today. What we found wasn't very thrilling.

Windshield channel.
Whole lower valance panel will need to be removed/replaced. Major rust holes in bottom in channel, once repaired in the ULTRA fashion by God only know who by.....

Taking Silver heat duct tape, covering the hole and filling with Bondo---
Pieces of Bondo removed as large in diameter and length as the average man's middle finger

Rear window channel.

Removable panel with vents at the bottom---channel part all but gone. I had a panel in the shed that looked "factory Fresh" in comparison.
Top of channel--one pass with the shop vac removed about 70% of the metal as loose oxide.

Worst Rear Window channel on a Late I have seen in almost 20 years of looking at them.


Anyone able to post some pictures, let me know. I know I have webspace from my ISP, but am not smart enough to use it ---yet anyway. 

Thank GOD I didn't take the donor car to the boneyard yet.  On the way out there now to look and see If I have a rear channel good enough to cut out and weld in.
