I seem to recall several Corvettes having the battery in the back seat. I imagine some of them had vent caps as well? Also, a lot of the Super Stock MOPARS in the 60's had their batteries located in the trunk and each cap of the battery had a hose leading down through the trunk floor....... Gary Swiatowy
