<VV> Olds - But some "tech"

With the number of times I have read tips in the Corsa Tech guide, and the
number of tech questions I have answered over the years, something that
happened the other day struck a chord. My wife drives an Oldsmobile Intrigue, a nice
bit of mostly-current GM mid-size design. She noticed that the trim at the
top of the passenger door was interfering with the center post trim (it being
a 4-door, posted car!) causing a "sticky" door closing. I first tapped it
back into place a couple of years ago. I finally checked where the front of the
trim piece lived and determined that the trim piece was being "tapped" on
the end with each door closure. I popped out the hammer once again a few months
later and again. A Corvair club friend drives his Buick Regal version of the
same car when his Corsa convertible needs a rest. I closed the passenger
door on his car and noticed the same interference. I tapped the trim piece back
into place and told him about the Oldsmobile equivalent. I thought to myself
- Well, there's a tech tip for the Oldsmobile Society of America Tech guide
in 2035!

C's the day! Corvair, Camaro, Corvette - but not Oldsmobile
