Here in Texas (where the borders are so porous that thousands of people 
casually stroll across illegally, bringing who knows what thermonuclear, 
chemical, and biological materials with them) we have our own Animal Cops 
television show that focuses on all of the police officers we pay to track 
down and punish people who mistreat their animals.
