I. e., when Lon's cylinders are processed, he fastens them in a jig, 
probably like a head plate and a block plate, and torques them down, so 
they are in a similar state of stress as when they are installed in an 
engine, and then they are machined -- this is a pretty high falutin' 
process, but typically can produce 'very good' end results.  
Measurements  of cylinders that are machined in this manner can give 
slightly different readings when measured in free air (with out the 
axial compression).

Lon, how much variation do you get between the compressed and 
uncompressed cylinders? Are your barrels distributed with information 
concerning this? Will/Do you custom hone these new barrels to fit 
customer supplied pistons?
