Why Not! What a great looking car. Like Bruce, who started the thread with
his ponderings of what the Corvair might have grown into, I often wonder the
same thing. I do traffic control for a ½ hour each morning in front of the
elementary school where I work and one of the parents regularly drops a
student off in his P-Carrera. I often wonder, why GM didn’t try to resurrect
the Corvair, for example when it came out with the mid 70’s Monza, or some
of the other attempts at cashing in on the small to mid-size car market.

Not un-related: My father-in-law had a 68 Corvair, long before I came into
the picture. The third of his four kids totaled the Corvair. Number four
didn’t think much of the Corvair, one way or the other, until the dad came
home with a replacement for the Corvair, a Chevette. Enough said?

The 2002 Corvair ?
