Hi,
I installed an electric release that I picked up from the trunk of some full
size GM car.  A huge warning though, when you remove the Corvair latch, you
also loose the safety catch.  In the process of installing the electric
gizmo, I had the hood pop open.  Luckily at lo speed but enough to bend the
hinges and damage the cowl vent grill.  I installed a separate safety catch.
If you're serious about this, contact me off line and I snap some pix for
you.  If I remember correctly, the catch was from a late 70's Cadillac.

Can someone tell me what under-dash mounted front trunk lid release -  from 
which car, will best adapt to a '69 LM Coupe?
