<VV> engine jack for Corvairs

I saw today that Harbor Freight has a motorcycle/ATV lift on sale for 
$50.99 (Regular price is $62.95, so not a huge sale) and it looks as if 
it might make a good drive train jack for Corvairs. Has a 1500-pound 
capacity. Link is

can't tell from the picture if the part by the handle goes down enough 
to be out of the way. Anyone have any experience with this jack?
