Strictly speaking the original battery is not available since originals 
were even part numbers (probably 556) to indicate that they were shipped 
from the Delco battery plant (probably Muncie) "wet" (had acid in them) 
directly to the assembly line. The odd part numbers (557) indicated "dry" 
batteries that were shipped without acid for long shelf lives.

When the repopers first began producing the R-59 series they were very 
bothered when I pointed that out.
