<VV> Permitted Helmets on Track-other CLubs

Just rec'd a flyer for a Lamborghini track day at Summit Point, where, the note says, "Snell SA95 helmets required for all groups; motorcycle helmets (M95) not permitted. Snell 2000 helmets will be mandatory starting in 2007." 

The last part is happening now in vintage racing.  SA 95s won't be allowed much longer. Matter of fact, the SA 2005 models have been out for some time. I expect updated helmets may be required before the end of the calendar year.

So, buying a SA 2005 will be good for 9 years. Buying a used or discounted 2000 will be good for 4 or 5yr?
