Not unless it failed completely...  ;)

Now, if the mount was sagged and the rear springs were soft and the 
snubbers were mashed almost flat and you hit a really big dip, it 
might droop the rear of the car down enough to cause the axles to rub 
the a-arms a little.

More often than not, the axles ended up rubbing the a-arms when the 
car was rolled around sans engine at one time or another.   Or, the 
car had a rear mount fail and the axles were all that kept the 
driveline from dragging down the highway.
