One of the few times I've played the game was with a 1 ton Dodge KaryVan [
box van] that kept breaking flexplates!..I bought it that way...and when it
broke on me in only 2,000 miles, I decided to go to a "Pro"......everyone bragged
on this guy....and he was local....

He said "no problem, I know exactly what's wrong" [ car 360 engine up against
a 727 TorqueFlite that had a 440 from the factory]....So I told him it was a
recreational vehicle....so no "Time limit /6mths, etc"...just
miles.......24,000....

He agreed......after 3 more flexplates....he cried broke......so I told him I
would supply the flexplate......which I did twice....LOL! [ 1st an Art Car
Solid unit, then a B & M super duty unit]... GRRR $$$$$$

note: one day at work 1 of the Co's Dodge pass. vans wouldn't crank......so
I slid under and hit the starter with a hammer...
Yes, it cranked right up....BUT..when underneath....I noticed 2 tubular
braces from the eng. block to the bottom of the trans bellhousing [ all Mopar folks
know! gggg]

Being a GM man....I looked at some Chrysler vehicles next time I was in a
wrecking yard......all had them....so I bought 2......

5,000 miles later I stopped by his shop in the van to tell him I'd fixed
it!....let's just say...you needed to see the look on his face as I drove up for
the 7th time in less than 2 years......thought he was going to hug me after I
told him......and he couldn't believe he had missed those 2 braces....
