Tuckers were indeed pretty cool, but I think the folklore surrounding 
Detroit's role in squashing them is way overstated.  Tucker the car was 
done in by Tucker the poor businessman.

Stigmata?  They have holes in them?  Usually that only happens after 
some years of exposure to salt, but it affects front-engined cars as 
well.

The Fiero was fine, safety-wise.  Why is it a "so-called mid-engine", 
though? It pretty well fits the deifnition of a mid-engine car.  Who's 
quibbling with that?
