<VV> Brake light problem

OK...
Someone said this earlier today and they were 100% right.
 
If the rear turn signals work on both sides (including tail lights on and  
off) there is absolutely nothing wrong between the turn signal switch in the  
column and all parts aft of the turn signal switch.
 
If the brake light works on one side, there is absolutely nothing wrong  
between the brake switch and the turn signal switch.   
 
As I recall from the original post, both of the above statements were/are  
true.
 
If that's so the problem is, 100% for sure, the turn signal switch in the  
column.
 
If the signal lamps work OK until the tail lights are turned on, it's 100%  
for sure the lamp ground.
 
No need for meters, tweeters, or divining rods!
